Best Things in Life are MADE!
Now I couldn't stop just with the stamp set, I had to throw some of my handmade flowers using the Fancy Flower Petal Punch and Cherry Cobbler Cardsock. To accent this models dress I threw in some pearls, because some girls love diamonds and others can't get enough of pearls.

Family Out West!
Paper: Crumb Cake Cardstock (#119929), Early Espresso (#119691), So Saffron(105118), Tempting Turquoise (#102067)
Punches: 1 3/4" Oval Punch (#119855), Extra Large Tag Punch (#119866), Large Tag Punch (#119876), Corner rounder (#119871)
Accessories: Pewter Hodegepodge, Neutral Brads (#119736), Daisy Paper Flowers (#119243), Flower Brights Brads (#119734), 3/8" Twill Tape (#119970), Early Espresso 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon (#120931), Swirly Die (#113456)
Stamp Sets: Out West (#120543- Clear Mount), Medallion (#115223), Things I Love (#115229), Three Little Words (#113254), Lovely Alphabet (#115030), With all My Heart (#118623 Clear Mount).
I used the classic ink refill to dye the paper daisies and I let them dry on a paper towel. To give the textured Early Espresso Cardstock I used the versamark and the Out West Stamp Set. I simply tore the Crumb Cake cardstock 12x12 and then I grabbed my favorite little tool "the dauber" and aged the torn edges by dabbing it with the Early Expresso Inkpad. The Swirly was created by using my all time favorite machine...."The Big Shot" machine. Now you can create this for a friend or for your family, but one thing for sure is that it is a great page to share with others. The ladies tonight were a blast and my boss Cindy she made it even more interesting, because she whipped right through that page with no difficulty whats so ever! Hmmmm looks like someone is a pro and doesn't know it yet. I would have wished to have taken pictures of some of the great jobs these ladies did, but perhaps at a later post. For now, I enjoyed a great evening with some great ladies and I hope to do it again very SOON!!!!!

Reading Journal
Materials:
Punches: Round Corner punch, Scallop Trim Corner, & Scallop Trim Border, Round Tab Punch
Stamps: Tote-ally Tess
Paper: Greenhouse Gala Designer Series, Early Expresso Cardstock, & Pumpkin Pie Cardstock, Whisper White Cardstock (for the girl), Marina Mist (pants of the stamped girl).
Accessories: Rhinestones, Staz On, Crystal Effects, Tombow, Bone File, Composition Notebook, 1/4" Early Express Grosgrain Ribbon, Glue Dots, and Dimensionals
I cut the paper to fit the notebook, but remember the GOLDEN Rule to measure once and measure twice, because the last thing you want is to cut your paper the wrong size. You need a front and a back cover, so be sure to cut two pieces. I covered the spine with the Early Expresso textured cardstock and I cut it 2" that was just the perfect cut for this particular journal.
The tabs, just be sure to use cardstock, because you want it to be sturdy and I used the Tombow for majority of this project, because it holds up better than the double sided adhesive.
My Diva Chic was created using the crystal effects. I stamped the image using the Staz On and then I cut out her pants and a shirt, which was then glued to her stamped image on the whisper white cardstock. So, I basically stamped her three times. Once on marina mist cardstock, then on pumpkin pie cardstock, and on the whisper white. So, you will need your scissor techniques here. I colored her hair using the Early Expresso marker and then applied the crystal effects. Be sure to let this dry for at least 2 hours before you apply it to your journal.
So there you have it a Reading Journal that just about anyone will love!
